thanks, larry king

Bill Maher was on Larry King Live recently and described his view of Mormons as "shapeshifters." It's pretty funny. But then Maher goes on to speak somewhat disrespectfully (at least Larry thought so) of Gordon B. Hinckley. Watch Larry's response.

Ha Ha! That was a riot. I think Michael Moore was more respectful when he was on Larry then freaky Bill. Just another angry liberal who is a bigot against Christians if you ask me. In my work place 4 out of the 10 people on staff have his attitude, scary huh.

Because we only get two U.S. stations we only see Bill when he is on Larry King. I usually like to watch him when he is because he does make some good points but like most ultra left or ultra rights, he goes so far that the idea of freedom of thought and religion is out of the question.
This clip was a good example of going to far. He showed disrespect for Larry's opinion and was rude to his person and he was disrespectful for people who practice their freedoms of religion. What a dork!

BTW; If you see more things on American TV that are interesting that I can see on the internet, let me know. As I said, we only get a few American channels.

Oh,btw, Michael Moore may be left but he is also an active practicing Catholic. Not that it is important to be religious but he isn't ultra left. I think he is just a sympathetic person who cares about people and wants to help in his own way. I also think he has integrity and respects others ideas. Bill doesn't do any of those things. What a dork!

How rude. I would hope I would never make light of any important religious figure that had just died on national tv.

Auntie Lee-where are you?

I thought the funniest thing he said wasn't even about Mormons, but something like "reasonable" Republicans thinking it's ok to be married a few times. So is this something Maher wants to see legislated? How about the multiple-marriage amendment? Sounds reasonable to me.

But I have to say my attention was riveted when Maher called Huckabee "arrogant." Maher is obviously an expert on the subject of arrogance.

Gabriela, I live in the Netherlands and have been here for the past 18 years 2 months and 26 days. As you may guess, for me it seems longer...much longer.

Just to clarify, I meant Bill M. was a bigot, not Michael Moore. The last time Michael was on Larry King he was talking about how enraging it was that the media kept bringing up Mitt Romney's religion. I thought that was pretty cool. I think that it is refreshing to have someone who is a lot more liberal saying that enough is enough.

The film and television people here (some of who P works with) are saying that in America there is a market for big film documentaries (for movie theaters)because people in America are sick of the lack of true reporting in American television. Looks like the television press are focusing so much on hype and exaggerations that they are loosing their public. Its ok for us, P works for a company that makes documentaries to sell in the States but it does show how the American press has lost its respectability.

I just want to say that I agree with ave in the work place there is 4 out of the 10 on staff have his attitudeit is scary alright. I respect other peoples religion but I think for him to have told Larry King Jewish fairy tale's was really wrong and rude..After all Larry king is Jewish that was so rude. Not that I am defending Larry King or anything I just don't like to hear people say there is not a God when there is a God the bible is the truth. I love God's word and for someome to be saying that is awful.Religion is never out of the question. We are all Christians. I don't know too much about the mornom religion but I have never really met one other than the Osmonds. anyway I enjoy reading your bolg I just thouht I would say something nice. In church these weekend the preaches said "Love your fellow man" Lord help us if there was no religion.Blessing marina
