baptism at sebec lake

It was beautiful. Looking at these photos brings the feelings back and I get a little teary. It was even more wonderful having all the family there than I thought it was going to be. Marcus asked Uncle JW to speak on baptism. And then when Marcus asked Uncle DTV to speak on the Holy Ghost, he even requested that he wear the mohawk spiked up. He asked Uncle Link to give a prayer. Poor Marcus is usually surrounded by women, so it didn't surprise me that he wanted as many men involved as possible in his baptism program. Georgie offered another prayer, Lidia played a violin solo (very well done), and Bernie recited the fourth Article of Faith.

I also wish we were there. It's good that you could get out to camp. I heard the road was rained out.

What a cool idea to do it in the lake.

What a wonderful place to be baptized! I was baptized in the Madison River in Wisconsin. What a special memory he will have.

I assume that's you in the 2nd picture? I can't believe it but that is the first time I've seen a picture of you. And that is not at all what I pictured you to look like. My vision of you was so clear I thought I must have seen a picture but I guess not. Isn't it funny how we picture people in our heads?

That is a great picture of you and Marcus sis. Do you have the guts to post the "fat arm" pictures of us? I think that you should post at least one fat arm picture of yourself, in retribution for posting that one of me with the goggles on two years ago. And, may I add that you also put that bad "goggle" picture in the family calendar. It was a funny one though wansn't it!

How cool to be baptized in a lake! A very memorable experience for sure.

Ok, twinlinebackers, that is way too mean to say you had an idea of what I looked like and then not even describe what that was!! :-)

So what the heck did you think I looked like? I am burning with curiosity.

So cool, I didn't know you could get baptized in a lake! Julio's baptism is coming up in a couple of months.

My kids would LOVE the shooting and the Starwars exibit. (from below. :) )
